Golden hour family session in New Braunfels, Texas


This sweet family just moved back to the United States after living overseas for several years. We had so much fun splashing and throwing rocks in the river and having lots of cuddle time. The thing I love about photographing families is that there will be no two sessions that are the same. Every child and family dynamic is different. So I could use the same prompts and poses with each family and get a completely different shot. That's what i'm here for! To capture the unique bond that brings your family together.

This spot by the river in New Braunfels is such a great location for family pictures. The water is safe and not too deep so the kids are safe but it allows them to be more like themselves as they throw rocks and do all the things kids like to do. Also the light at golden hour is incredible! It makes for such beautiful golden tones and bounce of light off the water.
